Only We - Vulpes

poem read by Timothy Arliss OBrien

Only We
Vulpes

We used to talk

So secretly

So emotionally

So fearless

Like we used to smoke

A nicotine

Seems like our thoughts

Fly away with these grey clouds

Above our wishful thinking

To the place where we should be

Together

In the sky or in heaven?

I'm asking myself

About the time I've lost

Permanent

Only one dose of you

Made me overdose

In those days long ago

Sick and tired of missing ourselves

Acquainted too long

One another

We used to sing

Each other

The songs

Only we used to know

Only we used to call a friendship

While it was love
